Question about 1993 Mitsubishi Expo 4 Door
Engine stop after being started. But when I tried to start the engine after the "check engine" light is gone, engine did not stop.
It could be a bad connection at the ignition switch or a bad key tumbler. Or you could also have leaking fuel injectors. Which would make the engine continue to run for a little bit after you turn it off because the cylinders are hot and you have compression. But if you had leaking injectors you would probably be able to smell more gas than normal out of the exhaust while it's running normally. How long does it continue to run after you turn the engine off? If it dies after a little while when you turn it off it will more than likely be the injectors but if it continues to run and you have to take off a battery cable or disconnect something else to turn it off than more than likely it is the ign. switch or key tumbler.
