How do you change turn signal arm on a 1999 mercury cougar. my turn signal arm is broke and i have a new one to replace it. and now im having trouble getting it out to put the new one in

Where is the location of the turn signal flasher for 19999 mercury cougar?

If you remove the lower half of the steering column it is behind the turn signal. It is a black box type fuse. Just unplug and plug in new fuse. Hope this helps :). Good-Day!

You mean the engine block. Depending on the damage, it probably could be welded, but for a 14 yr old car, it may be cheaper to buy a used engine complete.

99 Mercury cougar, the accelerator cable broke at the gas pedal how do i fix it? Do I need to replace the entire cable or just fix the part at the gas pedal?

replacing the cable would be the best thing to do it is hard to do on some models but depending on were it is broke and how much slack you have you could possibly get a cable connector for it like these

Turn signal and hazard do not work

please have the bulbs and wiring checked then if all are ok! the problem would be either the swtch or the flasher unit!!!!!!!

1999 Mercury Cougar started overheating. There is no coolant loss; no water pump squeal etc. We replaced the thermostat with no effect on the overheating. It appears as if the electric radiator cooling...

My 1999 Cougar started running hot and I took it to my mechanic and he found that the water pump belt was broke. Replaced belt and all is well. Hope this help.
