I have a 2000 Cavalier Z24 and my brake warning light is staying on and my brake fluid level is full and there is nothing leaking from any of the lines wht could be the problem i took it to Autozone for it...

The engine code reader would not matter with a brake warning light, but the code reader should access the engine computer.
The warning light can be on because of low brake fluid and also if the parking brake switch is not turning off.

You have a brake light switch attached to your brake pedal, may be loose or bad.Read what it says,if bad light will stay on,easy to replace, just disconnect electrical connector, then unscrew nut, then remove, the end piece clicks on and off,I have a 85 Nissan 720 truck, have replaced mine before years ago. I have a 1988 c1500 chevy truck and my break lights stop working and notice the stop light fuse was missing just bought truck back from previous owner but when I replace the fuse the break light stays on...

The brake light switch on these trucks was a poor design. Its mounted on the brake pedal. Look under there and bend the bracket that holds the brake light switch slightly and things will start working again. When these were new we used to just grab the brake pedal and pull it toward the drivers seat really hard and let go. This fixed your problem 99% of the time.

2002 Ford Focus ZX3 - Brake Lights

Most likely this is the brake pedal sensor switch. It is mounted on the brake pedal arm, and it has a screw adjustment mechanism. You will need to adjust it by turning the screw so the switch does not make contact when the brake pedal is pressed.

Brake light on dash stays lite. What does this

There is a pressure sensing switch on the master cylinder that will turn on this indicator light on the dash if there is enough of a pressure difference between the front brakes vs the rear brakes. It would be a good idea to check brake system for leaks and fluid level.
Sometimes it's just a matter of readusting the switch by having someone hold pressure on the brake pedal while you slightly bleed either the front or back brake line at the master cylinder. Be sure you are confident you are knowledgeable to handle this... you don't want braking problems afterward... Good luck and be careful.

2003 aviator brake lights wont shut off

There is a switch located on the brake pedal up under the dash. When you depress the pedal, the pedal arm allows a push-button to extend out, making electrical contact and illuminating the lights. Sometimes this will work its way out of adjustment, allowing the lights to stay on.

1991 honda civic brake light stays on need to push brake pedal to

Sounds like you might have a caliper that is stuck and is not fully disengaging. If it is in the rear then you may have a bad rear caliper. Twoo things you can try. One is to crawl under the ca and adjust the tension two nuts on the emergency brake line. If that does not resolve the problem then remove the back tire and try to spin the drum or rotor whichever you may have. If it does not spin then try adjusting the e brake cable more if it still does not respond then you need to do a brake rebuild. Also does it pull while it is dragging? If it is then you will need to rebuild the brakes no matter what.

Cluster light

The anti-lock brake system is not working. Ergo, both lights of brake and ABS will stay lit until you take it to you Dodge dealership and have them check you brake system. One of these days you will not be able to brake due to the failure, no matter if it runs great or not. Check engine, probably spark plugs misfiring, needing a tune-up, or maybe an oxygen sensor from the exhaust system not reading or working correctly.
