    can i get more options on this matter
    it started after coming back from long trip and cam to a stop light the vichical was in overdrive and the engien boged down and stalled

Hi, It sounds like your idle air control valve could be going out on you. The extra stress from being in gear can cause the car to stall out if the IAC valve isn't opperating properly. The IAC is attached to the throttle body and is normally held on by two screws. IAC valves are relatively cheap from AutoZone and easy to replace. That would be my best solution based on your description.

check to see if it has an inkline internal to the fuel pipe filter, this couild be blocked. or check for collepsed line somewhere.

I have 99 frontier 4x4 v6 with atp light on engien wont get over 1500 rpms

ATP = Automatic Transmission Park Warning Light.

The light indicates that the automatic transmission parking function is not engage.

Shift the transfer control shift lever into the 2H, 4H or 4L position when the warning lights comes ON. __________________

does it bang when shifting from park to drive ! if so its idling to high. should be 650-750 rpms. good-day !

Wont shift out of first have to work shifter from od to drive it goes in comes out after a few times works fine untill I slow down it down shifts hard

Check the transmission fluied, make sure the engien is warm before you check it also the car needs to be running, If not the shift linquige may need to be adjusted

1992 olds cutlass ciera keeps stalling out is there a main relay switch or ignition module switch that can be replaced? Where is it?Anyother ideas what could cause it to start, drive a few blocks, then...

could be a crankshaft position sensor located on the back side of the engine. There is a two wire plug on it and should be close to the freeze-out plugs. you will need an 8mm wrench to remove it.
