The A/C blower on my 2001 Cherokee Sport stopped. I added refrigerant in May when A/C was not blowing cold. Fan was intermitten last summer, meaning sometimes it would come on
and sometimes it will not. This is my wife's drive and used very
seldom. Appears we may have a leak, also. What are your thoughts? Can you give me the steps to check for the least
costly approach?

Sorry, I did not know that I was to add repairs suggestions here.

Hi Check the termial block wireing going into the blower resister as the power wire is a small gauge( too small in my estimation) for the load it carrys and gets very hot at the terminal block. Check to see if wire and block are burned. There is a repaire kit for this from Chysler.--$30.00
I had the same problem-- Use a jumper wire form the blower back past the resister to the power wire(red I think) to see if the blower starts up when its in one of its down sessions.

2000 jeep blower motor has quit. What can I do?

Your did great

Now get yourself a wiring diagram & do voltage
drop testing along the same places you just worked
or did your type of checking & replacing thing

I would say it is more likely you have a ground side
issue than a power side issue

My 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited is equipped with infrared dual zone climate control A/C and heater. The blower started to quit intermittently over a short period of time and finally has quit working...

sounds like it could be the motor ..if so nasty job .. you can download complete manuals on the internet for free ..then you can take it from there wether or not you wish to tackle the job yourself .. good luck

2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport heating & a/c problem.

If your saying the blower runs intermittently, I'd start testing at the blower motor when problem is ongoing, if good voltage and ground with no blower action, suspect the blower motor. Did you use a test light to check voltage at fuses, as you can see, one fuse goes hot with the key on, the other fuse is hot all the time. The top wire in diagram for blower motor is voltage, the bottom wire is ground.
Any motor that uses brushes and the brushes are worn badly, the motor may run intermittently.

Heater Air Motor not working on 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee all the controles seem to work they light up and change when you turn the knob but no motor movment tried looking for the fuse but could not find

First off, it's called the blower motor. Check in your manual for the fuse for that. If the fuse is good, it could either be a bad blower motor or blower motor resistor.
