Does the 1995 Buick Riviera have only one oxygen sensor and where is it located

It is in the exhaust Manifold crossover pipe and there is just one sensor. See picture below. Use an OEM sensor they are far better quality

'63 Buick Riviera -401 c.i.----setting the timing-need an old gearhead for this one!

do you have a dwell meter?
does this have the little slide up door on side of cap that you use an allen wrench to set the dwell?
if you did not move distributor then timing would not have changed.
is it possible you have plug wires on in wrong order?

How can I get my choke to open

The tube you're looking at is called a "heat riser". Warm air from off the exhaust manifold will rise in the tube, and warm the carb. If your choke doesn't gradually open with that, then most likely, it's stuck or the temperature coil is broken. Check that the choke can be easily moved with your fingers. .. Lubricate as needed.

New carburetor installed on 79 el camino

I am familiar with these, a manual choke carb works off of a bimetal coil in the manifold exhaust crossover on the passenger side of the intake, Make sure it is hooked up, then while the car is cold, on the rockchester carbs, use an 1/8 in drillbit to set choke. You have to loosen the three screws on the choke to set, when the choke flap, the very top one on the carb touches the drillbit, set it there and lock down screws, pump once or twice and it should start and idle, as the bimetal coil heats up it should open the top flap. if you try to accelerate before it is wam it will disconnect from the auto choke. I hope this helps if not please do not rate me at all, if it does help you fix your problem then please give me a fixya,
