No, the immobiliser has nothing to do with what you have - a fault in the transmission. Even if you would be able to start the engine you wouldn't go anywhere , the gearbox would simply refuse to engage.

I think you are right ,immobilisor or something similar ,if this is a europeon market vehicle then all the software is encrypted ,if its american market model then you should be able to get some codes out of it at least ,but either way its a dealer only type job as they have the right software also this vehicle does use the same software as opel or GM vehicle as they are all owned by teh same parent company GM

99 suzuki vitara v6 turns on all power but wont

the starter uses 10x more elect. power than the head lamps
or 100x more than dash lamps. it means little.
what matters most is jumper cable starts.
does it crank with jumper cables to a running, donor car,(aaa jump)
no bad starter
no, bad starter key line( immobliizer or such) ask how to test.
yes, cranks great, now.
that means the battery was dead,
i charge the battery and it now cranks, due to lights left on or
charge system failure, if battery goes to 13.3 to 15v running good
if on the charge system failed. (causing battery discharge)
if after charging a battery it will not crank car, its a bad battery (jumps ok)

Abs light stays on and the esc indicator light also but when you start it it shows it off

the operators guide shows what these mean and what to do.
lost that>? i have one, and 08 JK.
pages 105 to 116
it resets each drive. the opr guide says that, and does.
its a very complex system, you should RTM.

ill quote your missing pages.
ABS:
If the light remains on after start-up or comes on and
stays on at road speeds, it may indicate that the ABS has
detected a malfunction or has become inoperative. The
system reverts to standard non-anti-lock brakes.
ESP:/TCS
The ESP/TCS Indicator Light (located in the instrument
cluster), starts to flash as soon as the tires lose traction
and the ESP system becomes active. The ESP/TCS Indicator
Light also flashes when TCS is active. If the
ESP/TCS Indicator Light begins to flash during acceleration,
ease up on the accelerator and apply as little throttle
as possible. Be sure to adapt your speed and driving to
the prevailing road conditions

is this clear? if not ask more, questions , more specific and we can peel the onion deep as you want.

2004 Grand Vitara won't start

the trans only blocks cranking so we can ignore the overdrive lamp.
when car will not start, (state , what engine you have first)? 2.0L I4 or V6?
the first thing to check is .
is the gas tank above 1/4?
is there spark. on all 4 to 6 spark plugs.
are all fuses good.
does the CEL lamp glow key on, if not the ECU/PCM is dead and there will be no spark or fueling ever. but fuses can blow and disable ECU.

I have Suzuki Grand Vitara 2007 ESP lamp is on ,What is Problem?

The problem is that the ESP system is not active.
The ESP lamp normally is on for a few seconds after strating the engine - but must dissapear after a couple of seconds.

The failure is not critical but has to be repaired. Normally the failure is related to a defective ESP-controle box.
Be prepared - repair is expensive !!!!

Lights come on. I hear one crank but car won't start

Will the wipers work with the key in the run position? If not, it's the battery. Try a jump start. If the battery's ok you need to measure volts and amps at the starter to check for clean connections and internal failures.
