Question about 1993 Volkswagen Corrado
Unit showing missfire checked coil unit has new distributor and leads and plugs missfires only on idle unit has been in to vw delers they have put it on the machine the fault is on the ignition side but they can see the fault but can not find it i have no wiring diagrams for a corrado 9a engine so im a little stuck.
I had the same problem try this.. Put the igintion in the on postion. Find the coil take a screw driver there will be to leads one at a time quickly take the screw driver metal shaft put on one of the leads and ground it and repeat on the other one.. This will reset the computer on the coil it is the only way that I have found to work.. ( DO NOT HOLD THE SCREW DRIVER ON THERE MORE THAN A SPARK) try at you're own risk I thought that it was crazy when I was told but it worked...
