No special tools fairly easy job just make sure you bleed the air out of thr cooling system properly or you will quickly damage the motor

How do you take off the inside door panel on a 2005 chevy Impala, drivers panel to get to the motor

Advance Auto parts has a tool that goes under the door panel. Begin on the bottom of the panel and work your way around. Make sure that the control panel is disconnected before removing the door panel. The door panel may need to be removed as well. A litle patience goes a long way. Look all around the door panel to locate any screws. There may be buttons covering screws that may need to be removed.

Im tring to find instructions on how to install a harmonic balancer for a 01 chevy impala

If you have a manual, likely you are looking in the wrong place...that would be listed as part of any timing chain removal, front seal removal etc.
Balancer is removed by taking off any pulleys attached to it, removing the center bolt, then using a harmonic balancer puller (specific tool).
To put it back on, just put the new one on the crank snout, put back in the center bolt and washer and tighten it up. (anything that is in your way and preventing you from getting in there needs to be removed as well)

WHAT TYPE OF WATER PUMP WILL I NEED FOR A 1997 CADILLAC SEDAN DEVILLE V8 ENGINE

First of all,you will need the Northstar waterpump removal tool, You can get this from most reputable auto part stores and looks like this :-

The following link shows a selection of different manufacturers.

http://www.bizrate.com/automotive-repair-tools/northstar-water-pump/

You need to remove the air filter housing and ducting to gain easy access to the pump.

Remove the shield covering the pulley and belt. The belt is easily removed by levering the tensioner pulley.

The water pump is located at the lower radiator hose manifold where you will also find the thermostat.Remove the manifold cover and you will see the water pump.

Insert the removal tool over the pump making sure it is locked in position. You will need to use a breaker bar on the removal tool and turn the tool CLOCKWISE to release the pump (1/4 turn), or if you imagine the breaker bar being vertical, push towards the windscreen of your car,it takes quite a bit of force to unseat the pump hence the use of a breaker bar.

As for the waterpump itself, DO NOT buy anything other than AC DELCO as they are the highest quality and is a genuine GM replacement part.

Water pump part number AC Delco 252707

Installing the new pump does not require as much torque as removing the old one.
Tighten the new pump to 73 ft.lbs. making sure it is seated properly before tightening.

Don't forget to clean out the water pump housing prior to installing the new pump and don't forget to include a new water pump gasket and housing cover gasket.

It is also a good idea to install a new thermostat while you're at it.

Regards.

Waterpump removing fan

Well, if it's a 5.0L engine, remove the 4 bolts holding the fan to the pulley. If it's a 4.0L engine, you need to hold the waterpump pulley still and break the nut loose holding the fan clutch to the waterpump. If you don't have a wrench that big, try using a long chisel on the edge of the nut and hitting it very hard with a hammer to break it loose.
