Question about 2002 Saturn L-Series

1 Answer

2002 Saturn L200

About 2 months ago my car stalled and refused to turn over. I has been in the shop the all but a couple of days...they have replaced the fuel pump twice and finally felt all was well when I picked it up Friday. I stopped for gas and darned it would not start again...after about 10 minutes it started. Then I went shopping and after two hours came out only to have it not start again..and after 45 minutes left it in the parking garage

I have a 2001 L200 that will not start and then when it is towed in, it starts. I can hear a ticking noise under the hood. this is getting expensive.

There is a "crank sensor" that may need to be replaced - had the same problem with mine - it took the mechanics FOREVER to find out what was rrong

2002 Lincoln LSE 3.9L 124,000 MI. stalls after a stop or hard braking.

Hi.
This may be a "sticky injector"

This would cause overfuelling - and a sudden rise in RPM. The ECU will see this and compensate - by shutting the injectors down lower - , which then stalls the vehicle.

Worth a try runnig cleaner through them.

Laguna Gearbox issue ??

I would say that you should go back to the shop and tell them whats going on. They didnt fix the problem properly in the first place and that is bad business. Look for another shop and see what they say.
