There is a dial on the left side next to the steering column, rotate the dial upwards, if that does not fix your problem then check your fuses or possiably your dash lights, however dask lights are unlikely, due to the fact that there are more than one light and for all to fail at the same time is unlikely.

Did you check for voltage at illumination fuse? Use a test light to check for voltage, headlamp switch on.

Cruise control is not working. Is there a fuse?

There may be a fuse under the dash but there should also be a fuse under the hood in the junction box.

1994 silverado illumination on instrument panel doesn't work, parking lights and tail lights do not work but headlights and brakelights work fine. All fuses are good. Is this a bad dimmer switch?

No. Dash lights being out could be a bad headlight switch, since the dash lights are routed through the headlight switch, not the dimmer switch. Park and tail lights also controlled by the headlight switch.

I would check the dash lights fuse first. If the fuse is good and the circuit has voltage, you may have toasted the dimmer control.

Do you have the dash light dimmer control turned off by mistake, a common cause. It is next to the headlight switch.

Dash lights do not work

Power is supplied to the instrument illumination by the "TAIL/ILLUM LIGHT" fuse, Fuse #4 (15 Amp) located in the dash fuse block under the left side of the dash. This fuse provides power for both the primary and secondary sides of the TAIL LIGHT relay. The Combination (Headlamp) switch provides a ground path for the primary circuit of the TAIL LIGHT relay. When the primary circuit is completed by the Combination switch, the secondary contacts close and provide power to the tail lamps as well as to all of the instrument illumination bulbs. The ground for the instrument illumination bulbs is a variable-resistance circuit which is controlled by the illumination controller. The final ground for both the combination switch and the illumination controller is Ground G302, located under the center console.

Maybe if all the lights don't work but if only the heating control lights its more then likely the bulb for the controls or the wiring to the bulb. You will need to pull the HVAC panel out to check (check fuses anyway first) but i do not believe there is a fuse for HVAC illumination only..
