Seeing a lot of these lately. The problem is usually in the steering column and is a real pain to fix right, so I do the bypass. To bypass the steering column, there is a relatively simple procedure. All you need is an ohmmeter, a few resistors, and a soldering iron/gun. The procedure is here: http://vats.likeabigdog.com/

Your anti theft system has engaged. You can usually reset it by locking and unlocking the drivers door with the key. Unfortunately I am not a Chrysler expert, so am no help other than that.

I would put the old stereo back in, many cars and likely this one need the factory system for the security system to function correctly. You can also call this company for help, there may be a kit. www.crutchfield.com

Car wont start / security lights flashing


if the security light is flashing try to shut all doors and using the key lock and unlock the drivers door from the outside. This should disable the security system and allow for regular operation. i hope this helps

when u see the security light blinking and it wont start u simply turn the switch on and leave it on till the security light stops blinking then turn the switch off and start the car up

sounds like your passlock sensor on the ignition barrel is faulty. you will have to go to the dealer to have it replaced because of the programming after replacement.
