Well if he caused a short in the electrical system it could be the eec relay it is located on the passenger side under the hood on the fenderwell. Some are marked with what they do there can be 3-4 relays on it, the relays look like a small box with a connector at the bottom, and quite a few wires coming out. the one for the eec relay should be in the middle it was on my fathers 88 bronco 2. the fuel pump relay is the same thing, there cheap to buy and can find them at the parts store they are known for failure, just replace it..

Power Distribution Box
Located under the hood, inthe engine compartment. It houses the fuses and relays for most of theunder hood components which are not controlled by a dash mounted switch(such as the alternator, fuel pump, ECM, etc.). The fuses and relaysare replaced in the same manner as the fuse panel inside the vehicle. The power distribution box cover is hinged on one end and utilizes aretaining latch on the other. Simply release the latch and lift thecover up to gain access to the fuses and relays.

Good luck (remember rated this help).

No power to electric fuel pump 88 5L 302

check the fuel pump relay this sends the power to the fuel pump,

also has the car been in a smash even a small one if so the car may be fit with a enersher switch that cuts off the fuel circuit.

recommend you by a repair manual from your local parts retailer for the exact locations of these 2 units

Cant find fuel pump relay on an 1987 bronco 2

The fuel pump relay should be at the pass. fender well. It may be under a cover that holds 3 relays together. Usually it has a green plug on it. Also check the inertia (crash) switch. It's located at the upper part of the pass. side floor inside the car. It'll be under the carpet midway up the firewall. Make sure it hasn't gotten tripped.
