Question about 1997 Chevrolet Blazer
This is a vacuum operated system there is what is called an accuater its a diafram its located under the battery tray There is a cable that runs down to the transaxle in the front end the front axles go into it There is an adjustment for the cable or the passangers side of the transaxle This could be the problem or it could be one othe clips that hold the cable in place there are two of them one is at the accuater under the battery trap and the other is in side the transaxle they pop off sometimes More then likly its the one inside the transaxle but its not that hard to get at you take down front skid plate six bolts then take the five bolts uot of the side of the transaxle don;t worry you won;t lose any oil pullthe houseing out and you;ll be able to see the clip You may have to rebend the clip to make it work better Ihad to do this on mind 3years ago haven;t had a problem sence hope this helps good luck
