Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

2003 Rav4 ecu

You may try contacting Richard from They are in Puerto Rico, but they successfully fixed my friend's ecu that had that same part number. They were the only ones able to fix it. The others turned away because it was not for a rav4 of the usa, but from Chile and the others told that they could not fix it because they had no ways of resetting it.

What is the best oil to put in my rav4 2003 please?

using a high grade full synthetic is the best.
the oil grade which is 10w30 is for average driving conditions.
for winter,5w30 and 10w40 for summer is also recommended by alot of car manufacturers. The oil filler cap will tell you the oil grade.

The easiest way to tell if you have 4WD is to look under the car for a driveshaft under the rear floor, that is connected to the rear axle. If you have a driveshaft, you have a 4WD vehicle. No Driveshaft, no 4WD. The 2WD Rav / 4 are, for some reason, also called Rav/4s there is no 'Rav / 2"

2003 Started reving high in 2nd when trying to shift to 3rd gear. Its an automatic transmission. No problems before this. No Slipping, No Hard Shifting.

Check the fluid while the engine is on in park..
If fluid is not low - it could be a vacume or modulator issue.. (the modular tells the trani when to shift via vacume presure)
Some shops give free estimates.
