Question about 2004 Nissan Quest
This sounds like the tensioner is broke or came loose, this is something you need to have looked at, if the chain jumps it will cause piston to valve damage, heres a picture to show you what im talking about more clearly, also i would remove the belt and run the engine to make sure its not a pulley or the ac compressor clutch making the noise.i circled the parts that may be cause the timing chain to be noisey and also the ac tensioner, hope this helps,
