WWhere is the oil pan on the 1999 Passat? And, how do you take off nut if it is too tight?

The oil pan should be in the lowest part of the vehicle, meaning, under the car, probably in the front.

If the nut is too tight, you can use a spanner with greater leverage, or use you regular spanner, just extend it's leverage with a pipe or something of that kind.
