SOURCE: how to replace a heater core out of 97 buick skylark

There is a free way to find out where it is which is what you'll have to do first, go to any parts place which should have a diagram or they can just tell you over the phone. i will tell you this, hope that it's on the passenger side because if it's on the driver side you will need to pull the dash to get to it. If it's on the passenger side like the blower motor you can just drop the glove box door down to get to it. It looks like a little box woth two or three small hoses or pipes going to it which are failrly easy to disconnect. Hope this helped, good luck!

SOURCE: heater core-97 Pont. grand prix gt 6cy 3.8

the heater core hoses are under the hood on passenger side u can disconnect them from heater core and connect them together with a fitting that will withstand high tempature about 200 degrees ask local hardware store or autoparts store for fitting i think the size is 5/8 and the fitting only has to be 3 inches in length this will bypass heater core when ur done top of fluid and check for leaks with car running and warm

Honda crv 2012 heat on driver side doesn't get hot but passenger side does

Just got my 2012 CRV out of the Honda shop yesterday; it blew cold air out the vents while the engine was completely warmed up.
Honda has a service bulletin on it; the heater core must be flushed several times (there's a flush kit that Honda has provided).
After the flushing, I had all the heat I ever needed.
The REAL problem is this: Honda or the dealer can't tell what the cause of no heat. Is it corrosion/air pocket/bad anti-freeze???
Asked the dealer to inspect the bottom of the bucket when they flushed it if there is debris. "Well, the water is swirling around the bucket, so we couldn't see any debris".

If its clogged it can be cleared with the use of Garden hose p[ump. The water has to be turn into the heater hose line and then water has to be removed out via the pump.

Heater wont work on 97 honda accord replaced thermostat ran water through heater core and works wat else could it be

On top of the heater matrix is a flap and i suspect that this flap isnt lifting to allow the air through ,on this age car i suspect its a cable and the operating plastic wheel has broke or the outer cable has come adrift from its anchor point you will just have to follow your nose and have a look and as a temp thing wedge the flap open with something

you have a bad door switch usually located in the door jam if you are sitting in the seat and your door is open look for something that looks like a small button about the size of a pencil eraser it is possible the plunger is broken off so all you may see is a metal object with a hole, replace this if plunger is broken
