For what year and model? and the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) can only be reset on some models using a TPMS reset tool that you can purchase from an auto part store, or at a repair shop or dealer that has the reset tool, and also, the spare tire does not have a sensor built into it to send a signal to the TPMS so be sure that the tire that you did remove, as well as all of the other tires, do do have all the same and at least the minimum recommended air pressure, even if the tire that you removed is just being carried in the trunk. (those tires usually do well at 37 psi up to maximum air pressure as indicated on the tire) Be sure to use a good tire pressure air gauge when putting air in the four main original tires, and also the spare tire that is now on the vehicle, and then drive the vehicle at 25 mph (15.5 kph) or above for about five to ten minutes and check if the TPMS light goes out.
Take off a battery terminal for 10 sec. and put back.
