You need to also replace the underdash wiring harness with the 92 harness. You may also have to replace the instrument cluster with the 92 unit. The differences revolve around whehter or not the cluster has a tach and the DRAC unit(the flat white box velcroed under the glove box). The 92 DRAC has 7 jumpers in a row, whereas the 94 can have either two sets of 7 jumpers or 14 in a row(94-95 version).
Unless it has been updated, the 92 5-speed(MG5) may have not been the best choice as they were the series II. For 1993, Getrag came out with the series III which is a much better unit.

I have a 1991 Subaru legacy wagon 5 speed and a 1993 Subaru legacy wagon automatic I was wondering can I use the 1991 wagon for a full manual swap

Yes these cars are the same as far as parts go.
You will need to change some wiring on the automatic car for the manual swap to work without changing the wiring harness.

Can I put a 1994 Caprice 350 engine into a 1990 GMC 3/4 ton truck ?

yes but it will be difficult. a wiring harness swap will probably be needed since 93-94 were the experimental years for computers. you may need to swap trannys also. i advis you to have fun, the 5.7L chevy is one hell of a hot engine :) its the same one used in corvettes and comaros.

Swapped tranny, just need help with matching up wiring

It won't work. The shifting of the 4L60E is done by the computer in the 93. You might check with Summit or Jegs, I think they make a system to make it work.

Speedometer/odometer not working 2000 kia sportage

Your Vehicle velocity sensor has gone bad or the wire harness has gone bad. Check the wire harness first and if that is good, then replace the sensor. You can find the sensor on the transmission out put shaft on the drivers side. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help.

Tranny upgrade - 2000 tiburon

To my knowledge, there is NOT. You'd have to swap out the entire Powertrain (a later MY 2.7 V6) and wire harness and PCM (Powertrain Control Module).

1990 fuel injection engine into an 86 Z28

you can get an "engin swap wiring harness" from jegs or summitt that would require a little extra work on the wiring on the inside of the vehicle, however if you have the original wiring harness for the 90 engine, there is a plug on the inside of the right(pass) fender of the camaro that connects the internal wiring to the external. (plus the fuse block connector under the hood on the firewall on the driver's side) as far as the trans. i did the same thing with mine and kept the 5 sp, the only real problem is that i don't have back up lights.

Motor swap now it will not start

Unfortunately, there is no easy solution here. I had the same problem with my race car. I swapped a 96 2.2 into my 97 racecar and ended up having to also swap the engine wiring harness, computer, instrament cluster and pass module. The engine harness will bolt to the interior harness even though the wire colors are not the same. Just make sure you match the large yellow wire on the 96 harness to the large purple wire on the 97 harness. It sounds pretty complicated but it only took me maybe an hour to perform the swap. Now I'm back up and running and will be racing again this weekend.
