Truck quits when you drive at operating temp truck will just quit when you let off of gas.it does not do it all the time.also have noticed that the rpm will jump between 750 at the high end and down to around 450 and almost quits.have had the truck on a scanner but no codes come up.you can be going down the highway at 70 mph and let off of gas and the truck rpm just drops down and sometimes it will stall.you never know when it will quit.not looking forward to holidays in mountain driving with a truck that quits when it feels like it.

I had the same problem also and the Ford house told me that the throttle body needed to be replaced and the fuel injectors needed cleaning and the fuel filter replaced as well.

Just did this, replaced my fuel filter for $9 and works like new. When my truck's front would be slightly inclined, it would die. Thus, leading me to the filter.

Hey I had the same exact problem and i took mine into the local ford dealer and they hooked it up to a scanner. I cant tell you the exact code that came up but i know that it had something to do with the throttle body and the repair was a $106 dollars.
