Question about 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee
The dislpay panel states that I have an "door open" which I do not. It states that my driver passenger door is open. The display panel stays on with this memo and as well as all my dome lights ( 7 of them ) while I drive. I tried turning the car of and then on and it helped the first time....since them when I shut the car off all my dome lights stay on for about 5 minutes when I have a 30 sec delay in place. Could this be a fuse problem of some sort?
Probably a bad door switch or a malfunctioning body control module. If it's an analog problem it could be the door switch (usually driver's side) or a broken wire in the harness going into the door as the constant movement of the harness when opening and closing the door eventually affects the wiring.
