Where did a thermostat goes in a camry 92?

Four cylinder? Follow the lower hose to the housing bolted to the motor. The thermostat is behind that housing.

Locate the idler pulley. Loosen the nut in the center of the idler pulley. Then loosen the bolt that protrudes from the back of the pulley. This will let the belt go slack.

Changing a thermostat

Follow the big water hose on top of the radiator to the engine blogk. Where it goes into the block there should be 2 or 3 bolts to remove the housing. When you change the thermostat you should also change the gasket. I hope this helps.you.

Locating and replacing a thermostat on a 1991 camry

You upper radiator hose connects to a flange w/ 2 screws on the engine. Unscrew the two bolts, i believe it's a 10mm, or a 12mm. Once opened, the thermostat should be there. Keep note of the orientation so you have no problems when putting a new one in.
