You need to take out the battery. Make sure you have the pass code for your radio because you will need it to reset the radio. It takes about 15-20 minutes to do the job. Avoid touching the tip of the light bulb

Re: driver side headlight replacement
But, it's changing a light bulb...open hood, look at back of light assembly, open door that accesses bulb for low, disconnect wire, disconnect retainer spring, insert new bulb & reverse steps. Takes about 1 minute. Although you can frequently get the existing one to work just by jiggling it, you may want to purchase the replacement first...so you can see what it looks like...it is a small bulb...not the old sealed beam. ...All the best

That Uhaul harness is the first thing to check. Next would be the ground wire/s at the rear lamp. Your problem is that when the head lights are off, the rear light is grounded the the headlights(no power to the headlights). When you turn the head lights on, you loose the ground because the headlights over power the rear ground. Your flasher is not the problem. Use the OHM part of the meter(lowest setting) to check for ground. Anything above 5 Ohms is a wire replacement.
Generally, it is better to replace both at the same time, simply because the possibility of the other one following after. BUT $150.00? wow, that is not something that would void your warranty if you replace it yourself. The bulbs are as cheap as $7.00 at your local parts store. Save yourself $130.00 and replace them yourself. ^^ Good luck and hope this helps. P.S. If you are talking about the entire headlight assembly, then $150.00 is more than fare.
Hi. Since the headlight on the driver side is working then we dont have any problem with the fuse or relay. Check the wiring and the socket of the passenger headlight if it is intact to the bulb. If it is intact, then this could be a headlight problem. Time to replace the passenger headlight.
Headlight Bulb Replacement 1. Open the hood and remove the two headlight mounting screws. 2. Remove the push-in fasteners for the grill area by prying under the head of the fasteners with a flat bladed tool.
hi there the solution is simple, you only need to undo the screw on top of the side light/indicator. then facing the head light place a flat headed screw driver under the bottom lip of side light. the bottom of the lihgt is on a small push fit stud, use a sponge or cloth to protect your bumper paint work then just apply pressure gently to lever side light out towards you, It will come dont worry, you may then change your bulbs if you wish remove the whole light unit you will see the bottom bolt as soon as you release the side light. to replace just push back into place then replace screw. whole job takes about five minutes
headlights are changed from within the engine compartment... if it's the side the battery is on.. it will likely need to be removed first... do not touch the bulbs with your fingers as that shortens their life.
Please take a moment to rate this solution ... thanks
There is 2 plastic clips behind the headlight, lift these up and pull the headlight out. Then just twist the plastic cap out of the headlight and replace. (Do not touch the bulb when replacing). Then put headlight back in all the way and slide the plastic retainer clips back into position.
