Question about 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier
Hello, my chevy cavalier Z24 stopped whilst driving ; therefore i thought that it was fuel. To my surprise it was not,i changed the spark plugs and it started but cuts off after about 1min. i then used my auto scanner and recieved the code (PO 108). I'ved searched for the description of such code but havent found it. therefore this is where i need your proffessionalism.... thanking u in advance...
Code P0108 is a MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor error.
It is either mounter directly on the intake manifold, or on the firewall.
If it is on the intake, the o-ring may have failed.
If it is on the firewall, the rubber vacuum hose may have dry rotted or just have fallen off from either the sensor, or the intake manifold vacuum fitting.
The sensors themselves very rarely fail.
