Replace the oil pressure sensor. It's directly above the oil filter. When it fails and starts leaking, it drips down onto the filter.

Hello and welcome to FixYa!

There can be disconnected wires somewhere. You can start on the distributor, if there are faulty or disconnected wires there won't be current to the plugs.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

I Don't know what type of oil to put in my 1992 honda accord

This is right from the owner's manual: Recommended Engine Oil: API Premium grade 5W-20 detergent oil . 5W-20 oil is formulated for yearround protection of your Honda, to improve cold weather starting, and to help your engine use less fuel. If 5W-20 oil is not available, a 5W-30 oil may be used. However, it should be replaced with 5W-20 at the next oil change. ---------- for more help in how to change oil and oil filter in your Honda car please click the link below. https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/pubs/om/AC0202/AC0202O00250A.pdf Thanks. 1992 honda accord needs oil every 10 minutes of drive time

This is not good . With that much oil in that amount of time.
Unless there is a cloud of smoke so thick coming out of the tail pipe you cannot see through it, There must be an external oil leak. If you look under your Honda and there is oil all over the underside it will be necessary to locate the general area of the leak to pin point the problem area. Starting with the oil filter and drain plug. You may need help with that.

Just want to know how much oil going in the tranny of a honda accord 1992 automatic

The automatic trans on your 1992 Honda Accord holds a total of 6.4 quarts, and 2.5 quarts on a filter replacement, so the torque converter and the rest of the trans retains about 4 quarts.

1992 Honda Accord Oil Leak

Check the threads on the new sender/switch. They should be slightly tapered. Some of the less expensive replacement parts have straight threads, try a new part from the Honda dealer. The grey/white stuff is teflon type pipe sealant, this is the correct material to use on the sender threads. Clean the threads in the block very well first.

Honda accord 1992 I have a oil leak around the oil filter is it

is it an ex?
is it a bad leak?
it could be 2 things
1) oil pressure sending unit above the filter
2) "o" ring between the oil cooler and block on ex models only. the oil cooler is between the filter and block with 2 coolant hoses attached to it. also might be the oil filter. i replace alot of sending units and oil cooler o rings.
