Air conditioning and heating controls

I have a 2002 GMC Sierra. When I try to turn on the heat and air controls, nothing happens. It doesn't matter whether the fan is on low or high, heat or air...nothing. What could be the problem?

My 94 gmc sierra has no heat, new heater core and blower works, also has new termostat...any suggestions?

You Might want to Check your Heater Control Valve,Its located under your Hood between 1 Heater Hose and your Water Pump. Its Vacum Operated and could be manual as well.Have someone turn your heat on and Off while you watch under the Hood at the Heater Control Valve to See if you see it Move.Or could have a Leak.More than Likely its Frozen Closed not allowing the Hot Water to Run Through Your Heater ore ,Which Results in No HOT AIR blowing inside. Try This 1st.

No power to the heating and air conditioning controls

folliottfami:I take you to mean that the blower just does not run. Your problem may have something to do with the motor being bad, or a wire or terminal between the relay/resistor and the motor breaking down and maybe burnt off. I can't say what is draining your battery though. Those problems usually stem from a light, such as the one in the glovebox, staying on.

Guest:: your problem may be similar. Inspect the wires and terminations in the area of the relay/resistor assembly.
