How do you remove the back seat in a 2005 Toyota Avalon?

Most back seats come out the same way. The seat (bottom part) is usually bolted down with two bolts that can be accessed by lifting the rear carpet away from the seat sill, near the floor. Once these bolts have been removed, the seat can be lifted up and out. This should now reveal the two bolts that hold the backrest to the body. Undo them and the backrest can be pushed up and out.

How to remove the backseat of 1994 buick avenue

most gm vehicles have a two piece back seat; you have to remove the bottom first. there are two screws on a little vertical section of floorboard under the front of the seat; remove them, then push the seat back just a little and remove the lower section. then you will see two more screws which hold the backrest; when you remove them just lift up and remove the backrest. you can reinstall the lower section if you want.

The tip of my key is stuck in the ignition and i need to remove the barrell to get it out ???

No need to fret. Go to your local locksmith and he has a small tool that will retrieve the broken piece of key in a short time. Call first to make sure he does this and (of course) how much he charges. WAY EASIER than removing the lock cylinder.... Good Luck.

My girlfriends son dropped a game piece in the center console and jabbed the parking brake, I got it unstuck, but now she has no parking brakes, what do I look for

Inside the boot there should be a cable with an adjustment connected to the brake lever. See that it is still connected. I can't imagine how a game piece being removed caused this but.....

I need to remove the backseat of my Nissan Maxima-2007 3.5SE..I dropped a small ring down the back of the leather seat..I have tried to use a vaccum , no luck..

Typically, seats jamb fit at the rear and have a spring piece that engauges at the front. To realease, the seat gets moved rearward about 1/2 inch and then pulls up in the front.... Compress the rear of the seat and it takes kind of a lot of force to move the entire seat rearward, but that is what you do....

Need to Take Apart the Car Door

Use a small scraper or a pair of flat screwdrivers and probe under the door panel to loosen the panel from the clips in the door. You are going to find them on the edges of the panel and will pull outward slightly. Unhook the armrest and other fittings and then you will have access to the inside of the door. You may need a pickup magnet or a coat hanger to retrieve the ring from the door.

Good luck.

An Item Has Fallen Into The Space Behind The Cup Holder? Help.

I recently had to retrieve a small object (camera battery) that was dropped in the cup holder. The battery allowed the cup holder to close properly, but it would not allow the cup holder to open all the way, making the cupholder useless. Getting access to remove the object was quick and easy - all it takes is a small flat blade screw driver. Use the screw driver to gently pry up the wood trim panel in front of the cup holder. Be sure to pull it up evenly from both sides and it will pop out of its retaining sockets. You'll then have the access you need. When you've finished, just realign the wood trim piece and tap it back into place. You can see a picture of where to pry at

First focus on making sure that the seat is appropriate for your child and has done well in crash tests. Car seats are meant to fit in just about every car although if you have a small backseat you may just need to squish it in more. The type of car you have really shouldnt matter
