First, get the code for your radio unit from your local dealer. It has an anti-theft device that will disrupt your radio, without the code you cannot get it going again. Next, take the positive lead from the battery for about 2 minutes and put it back on. This will reset your system, it may or may not activate your anti-theft device. IF it does, you'll have the code in hand. I hope this helps you, good luck!
to turn off the theft system, all you have to do is put the key in the door lock and lock and unlock the door, this shuts down the anti theft system, now this has nothing to do with the radio, the only way the radio would ask for the code is if it was removed or the battery unhooked, anyway try the unlocking of the door even try the passenger door, hope this helps.
try locking and unlocking the car with the remote, maybe a anti-theft issue?? what do you mean" tries to start?" either the engine turns over or it doesnt. if it turns over, but wont run, thats another story.
Not at all, the alrm will not cause the anitlock light to come on, try resetting the computer again by taking the positive battery cable off for 10 mins, if this does not work, then you definatly have a problem with the anti lock and the computer may have been over loaded so it did not reconize it until the computer was cleared when she took the battery out.
