Re: engine light is on
To get any diagnostic you need to beg borrow steal or buy a reader and get the actual error code. could be any of several fuel/air/o2 sensors. the light just tells you that the computer cant read something, not what the 'something' is

Hi there: There are two ignition coils mounted at the end of the cylinder head, the DTC O1310 indicates a malfunction of coil #2, it connects to cylinders 2 and 3, this coil should be replaced. The cylinders are numbered 1-4 starting at the front of the engine. Visit HERE diagnotcis procedure. Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.
HI there code P0320 is ignition-distributor engine speed input circuit malfunction . IS your Engine Light ON or Service Engine Soon Warning Light if so check for lose wire connections At Crank Position Sensors =if OK Check for Arcing secondary ignition components, coil, wires and plugs.=if OK Check your battery for Low battery charge.=if OK Replace your crank position sensor .
The ignition engine speed sensor input signal to Powertrain Control Module (PCM) or Electronic Control Module (ECM) is continuously monitored. The test fails when the signal indicates that 2 successive erratic profile ignition pickup (PIP) pulses occurred.
Symptoms: - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) - Lack/Loss of Power - The engine may be harder to start - The engine may stumble or stall
When is the code detected? The P0320 code is triggered when 2 successive erratic PIP pulses are detected.
Possible Causes: - Loose wires/connectors - Faulty Crank Position Sensors - Arcing secondary ignition components (coil, wires and plugs) - Low battery charge - Powertrain Control Module
Possible Solutions: - Resecure loose wire or connectors - If battery charge is low, recharge or replaced battery - Replaced crank position sensor - Replaced starter motor
Hi, my first recommendation would be to take the plugs out and visually inspect each one and check to make sure they are properly gapped, if they look fouled at all i would replace them without hesitation. try throwing a set of NGK plugs in the car to fix the misfires. other than that you may want to look at the wires. good luck joe
what kind of engine do you have? if it is the 2.o F.S.I your crank case breather valve can be acting up on you and will cause these concerns. If you have a 1.8t check the wire harness going to you coils look for cracks in your harness the ground wire if you see copper that is you problem will need to get ignition coil wire harness and cut and splice in new wire harness
