Question about 1993 Saturn SC2
I have a knock in the engine. it gets lound when it is reved up car still moves cant figure out what the issue is can someone please help me would love to get it back out on the road
You need to give more information, have you opened the oil pan, or the valve cover. Have you figured out if the knock is coming from the top, bottom back front?
If the noise is present when the engine starts up, and gets louder and faster when the engine gets revved then it’s most likely a thrown rod. Which means you need to pull the oil pan, and check the bearings and rods also the thrust bearing. These are real easy to replace. I would recommend having your timing chain checked also.
