Question about 1987 Ford F 250
We have a R reg Ka which has this week developed a clicking noise in the vicinity of the fan belt. It sounds like something is catching each time the fan belt turns. The rate of click increases as the accelerator is depressed. Any idea what this is?
Does car have a clutch fan if so stop engine and see if there is any play in fan by trying to move fan blade back and forth if ther is play replace it. also check belt tensioner for excessive play.
