Question about 2000 Ford Escort
Just brought van when i test drove it driving it respectfuly like any normal person would up to about 60mph it was fine so i had it, then on my way home i drove it like i normaly would being a courier and in any gear when you put your foot down it starts to pull about half way through the gear and starts holding back then go then back then go every other second, i had it put on the handheld machine at a garage and it was saying there was no problem no error codes but they thought the problem may be the egr valve they put a blank out plate/gasket on it to shut this valve off which should have solved the problem if it was this but it has not made any difference, any suggestions would be of help, thanks this is an english van and have picked alternative vehicle as didnt have the option for this one.
I just bought a Ford Courier van 2000 in the year running perfect when I drove it home it has a seperate immobiliser to the ignition key which you have to insert the immobiliser fob into before inserting the ignition key I have tried to do this the following morning now there is no light on the immobiliser switch plus the car will not even turn over it is like the immobliser will not switch off is there any way of dissconnecting the immobliser if anyone can help me with a solution i would be most grateful.
