I have a 1999 jeep cherokee and the metal bracket that holds the seat in snapped and broke is there a way to fix this problem without replacing the whole seat? It is the metal bracket on the right side of the seat.

You can buy the brackets or seat frame seperatly.
The thing is that you have to take the seat out and disassemble the whole thing to replace the bracket.

Where is the flasher module located on my 1999 jeep cherokee sport?

For 1999 Jeep Cherokee 4WD 4.0L MFI 6cyl the Flasher is located: Seating area, driver side, located in a wire harnessconnector which is secured to the diagnostics spliceblock bracket outboard of the steering columnopening underneath the instrument panel.

Hope this helps; good luck (reemmber to rate this answer).

We have a 1999 Grand Cherokee Jeep. The window on the passenger side snapped, fell down and is not working. The plastic unit that holds the cables broke letting the window slam down and it jammed the gear...

If this is what I am thinking of it is called a window regulator. Which consist of a frame and the window motor. Usually they only sell this as one unit. which makes it quite a bit more expensive and most of the time the motor will work just fine.

Does the fender flare just sanp on? we bought a replacement for our 1999 jeep cherokee classic and it didnt come with brackets of anykind

The actually fender flare just snaps onto a metal plate that is mounted where the fender flare goes. This metal plate is usually connected to the quarter panel with rivets.

Drivers seat

You need to unbolt the seat from the floor, then put a large piece of sheet metal or really large flat washers (at least 3" diameter) under the legs to distribute the weight more evenly. How you repair the one that broke is largely dependent on if the leg broke or if it went through the floor. you can replace the seat with one from a scrapyard or if you know someone who can weld it without setting it on fire, (don't attempt to weld with the seat in the car) do that. if the leg went through the floor, then just use a large plate underneath to reinforce it and replace the bolt if necessary. Usually the bolts are case hardened steel so if one broke it may be easier to cut them all off and re-drill new holes just in front or behind the old ones. I'd only do that if the old one cannot be drilled and re-tapped though. Always use grade eight bolts to replace hardware. They will prevent the seat from tearing from the floor in an accident.

How and where is the turn signal flashers located?

1999 Jeep Cherokee 4WD 4.0L MFI 6cyl
The Flasher is located in seating area, driver side, located in a wire harness connector which is secured to the diagnostics splice block bracket outboard of the steering column opening underneath the instrument panel.

Also, I suggest check the Service Manual for Jeep XJ Cherokee Electrical Section or the other section HERE

Hope helps with this (remember rated this) Good luck.

Drivers Power seat broken-the support metal arm-2004 Grand Cher

Should just be 4 bolts holding the seat to the floor, and unplug the wires. Only way to fix it is weld it, or get a different base from an auto wrecker.

I have a 95 Jeep Cherokee, the hood release cable is broken..help

HALLO
TRY WITH SOME HARD WIRE (WELDING WIRE) ABOUT 3MM THICK.
MAKE HOOK ON ONE END (5MM), AND IN THE MIDDLE, JUST UNDER THE HOOD,BETWIN HOOD AND FRONT GRILL, IN THE GAP YOU WILL SEE HOOD LOCK. IN THIS LOCK YOU WILL SEE SMAL HOLE. GO INSIDE WITH THE WIRE AND TURN IT (TRY LEFT OR RIGHT (DONT REMEMBER)), BUT HOOD WILL OPEN. HEPENED TO ME TOO TWO YEARS AGO.
