Where are the speaker wire tie-in in the trunk for after market subs on a 2014 Lancer Evolution MR?

the car company do not put aftermarket wires in anything , they are called aftermarket because someone put them in there after the car was bought, most likely they are not in there , if the 4 wires are green or blue and 2 black ones they may be speaker wires but my guess is theta they are for a option from the factory add on light a set of extra lights or for a tow package , good luck

Locked Keyes in trunk of 91 Lexus

I don't know about back seat access, but you may have a feasible idea about the 12volts -maybe. Does your vehicle have a button on the dash to pop the trunk?? If so, that button works with the ignition switch in the 'on' position. Obviously you can't use the button since you can't turn the ignition to on. However, if you can get to the contacts of that button, you may be able to energize the trunk opener. Hopefully there are only two wires on that button switch, which will simplify matters. If you take a wire from the Positive battery terminal to the button switch, you may be able to energize the opener. If it's a two terminal switch, one side or terminal is power (12v) in, and the other terminal is 12v out. If you put 12v to one terminal and nothing happens, push the button. Can you pop the hood to get to the battery???? If not any 12v battery can work, lawn mower battery, etc. : Negative terminal of battery to car frame, positive to switch. This would be a low current draw, so the wire can be anything like speaker wire. Since the wire is live, just be careful not to have it touch any other bare wire connections or part of the frame, etc.If this works, it will probably set off the alarm, since the ignition switch is off. I really don't know if this will work, but if I was in this dilemma, I would try it. After all said and done, someone might be able to tell you how to access the trunk by way of the back seat. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!

2002 Pontiac sunfire front and rear left speakers not working ! Any idea what could be wrong ? I heard there is a factory amp do you know where that would be and if that could be the problem

factory amps are located on the stereo unit itself or in the trunk but only if the car was ordered with premium sound and the possibilities of that car being ordered with premium sound is unlikely. so at the harness in the back of the stereo find the speaker wires and hook up a 9 volt battery to the said speakers that dont work if they crackle then its in the stereo if not its the speakers or wires to speakers with battery hooked up and speakers dont crackle go to speaker and test with a vom and test for 9 volts dc

Changing the two back speakers in the 2003 Pontiac Grand Am

Always a good idea to upgrade speakers...Your factory speakers are normally removed from the underside of the rear shelf located in your trunk...6X 9 common size some 4 X 10...4 mounting screws on each corner, and a 2 wire connector...switch out is easy...some rare models have the rear speakers installed from the inside of the rear shelf...first check in the trunk for the speakers, and screws...if not there, you will need to remove the rear seat...to get to the speakers to switch out...first the bottom cushions then the top...bottom cushions have a large bolt on each side near the floor...top seat back bolts are under the bottom cushions...Hope this helps.

Need to replace rear speakers in 1998 deville.... how is this done?

If it is the factory installed speakers. They are come out thru the inside. You need to remove the rear deck carpet...Easiest way is to remove both back seats first .
Remove the bottom seat first by pushing the seat towards the back of the car / then lift it up.
Then you will release the other seat by (using a socket set) to remove 2 nuts inside the trunk.then the seat will be release to simply lift out of the car. remove the top deck carpet .
The speakers are held in by 4 angled clips.
From inside the trunk, release the 4 angled clips, disconnect the speaker wires. Then push the speaker inside the car and your done. Hope this helps.

Removing front and back speakers in 1991 Grand Am....

There is a lot involved in replacing these speakers. You should also know that the original factory speakers are 10 ohm speakers. This means that if you replace them with new speakers (most of which are 4 ohm) you run the risk of damaging the stereo, the speakers, or both. This can also cause a potential fire hazard in your car. If you want new speakers, you really should look at installing a new stereo as well.

To get to the back speakers, you will need to remove 2 bolts located under the front edge of the rear seat (bottom). After you remove the bottom, you will need to remove the rear seat (back). This involves removing the bolts that hold down the rear seat belts, which is a large sized torx bit (T-45, T-47, or T-50... Don't remember which). After removing these, lift straight up on the seat back to remove. Now remove the deck brake light housing, and the bracket that holds it. Now the deck cover can be removed. Be careful not to bend it too much getting it out from under the side trim on both sides.

For the front speakers, you must disassemble a good portion of the dash. Remove the screw holding the light switch and the wiper switch housings. This screw is underneath each housing. Once removed, there are dash mounting screws behind them. These screws (and many of the other dash screws) are a smaller torx-bit (T-10 or T-15, don't remember which). Sometimes they use a 7mm bolt. There is a cover panel just above the glove box. This panel is held on with 2 screws located in the glove box. After removing this panel, you will find 2 or 3 bolts holding on the dash. Last but not least, you will find 2 bolts inside each of the defroster vent grilles. These grilles just snap out for easier access to the bolts.

I need a wiring diagram for a radio

first your 12v mem is green w/purple stripe, ign 12v yellow w/black,ground blackw/green second you need to find out if factory amp is in car look in trunk on pass. side back seat wall and look for a little silver box with a gray plug that will look just like at back of if radio if so that is amp, next you will have wires that go to speakers there will be colors like org, grn, white,lt blu,etc cut those and take a battery 9volt aa,d etc start touching wires on battery two wires at atime when you have located a speaker wire set you will hear some static noise that is ok you have a set of wires twist then together set aside so you dont mix up untill you have identified all sets and go to next set and so on and eventually you will pair them up then you will need to run 4 sets of from trunk to head unit and done not simple but not terribble this is what a shop will do to locate speaker wires
