Let the car run for fourty five minutes to an hour with the radio turned on. after that time turn the radio off press and hold presets 5 and 6 for about ten seconds then use the seek and tune buttons to put in your code. what was your code that you are entering is it your personal code or a default dealer code. your radio should display 1n0p is this right?

if it displays 1n0p, it means it ain't working, you've tried too many codes and now your car needs to sit with keys in run positon and radio on again for at leas 60 minutes, not 59 minutes. check saturnfans

I've also read to try disconnecting the car battery entirely for a minimum of one hour and then follow the steps to enter the code the dealer gave you over the phone...holding down presets 5 & 6 for five to ten sec, then repeatedly press left side of the SEEK rocker until the 1st# of the code from the dealer appears on screen. then do it again but with the right side SEEK rocker for the second # of your code, the left side of the TUNE ROCKER for the 3rd, and the right side of the TUNE ROCKER for the fourth.(You will will form a zig-zag beginning top left side of the rocker combo)..then, to SAVE, press the AM/FM button. These steps to enter the code were from Mom's original 1995 Saturn owner's manual.

Who would be the dealership for a saturn 2000 ls ,i bought it used and radio needs code

Saturn is a GM product, take it to any Chevy dealer and they should be able to help you. Although, if the previous owner left the car manual in the glove box then the factory unlock code should be there, unless they previous owner changed the code then the dealer will have to reset it.

My radio in my 2002 saturn is locked how do i unlock it

You must write down you VIN number. Also you may have to remove the radio to get the serial number and model number and write it down. Call the dealer or you may have to go to the saturn dealer and provide this information and prove you own the vehicle for them to relenquish the information. At this time they will tell you what you would need to push in order to bring the radio back to life. Hope this helps.

My saturn sl2 alarm starts to beep when I try to start the car and won't stop for about a minute. Car won't start. My power locks have been disabled(over a year now). It started acting strangely and...

This sounds somewhat similar to a problem I had with my 1999 Saturn SL2. There was "burning and arching" on the fusebox and it was replaced. The first few times my car would make an extra beep noise when locked or unlocked and I believe the radio/clock had to be reset. The problem got worse although sporadic. Eventually the car wouldn't start - not even making a clicking noise and a big variety of electrical components would not work or didn't sound right.

Help! I have 98 Saturn SL2 that was live one minute dead the next

Sounds exactly like my 1999 SL2 which had "burning and arching" in the fuse box. Car one day be fine the next I'd take it to the store, come back in 10 minutes and wouldn't start, no radio, no power windows, no keyless entry remote, no rear defrost and even locking doors from inside power buttons it sounded odd. This fixed the problem by replacing the fuse box.
