Let the car run for fourty five minutes to an hour with the radio turned on. after that time turn the radio off press and hold presets 5 and 6 for about ten seconds then use the seek and tune buttons to put in your code. what was your code that you are entering is it your personal code or a default dealer code. your radio should display 1n0p is this right?

I've also read to try disconnecting the car battery entirely for a minimum of one hour and then follow the steps to enter the code the dealer gave you over the phone...holding down presets 5 & 6 for five to ten sec, then repeatedly press left side of the SEEK rocker until the 1st# of the code from the dealer appears on screen. then do it again but with the right side SEEK rocker for the second # of your code, the left side of the TUNE ROCKER for the 3rd, and the right side of the TUNE ROCKER for the fourth.(You will will form a zig-zag beginning top left side of the rocker combo)..then, to SAVE, press the AM/FM button. These steps to enter the code were from Mom's original 1995 Saturn owner's manual.
