I need help!!! 94 accord

I just bought a 94 accord it idles fine when you dont have the ac on but when you turn it on the idle drops to about 3-400rpms and the car shakes pretty bad. i had some one check it out(the ac doesnt blow cold air) they said that it was full of freon and the condenser seems to be fine to. he said it may be the fan, the car isnt over heating and when you turn the ac on one of the fans come on. the mech. said he put cold water on the condenser and it started to blow cold air in the car. do you have any idea what the problem maybe?

Well my 94 just blew a belt and they all seem to run on the same main pully. As i just learned these belts need replacing, especially the timing belt. its only good for 70000 miles. If its beyond that and the timing belt gets strecthed even a 1/4 inch it can throw off the timing and much more and make your car turn pretty gutless. If the timing belt brakes, there is a good chance it can permanetly damage the engine valves. If the timing belt is weak, it may affect idle when the ac needs to be turned as well?

Heres another one. It wasn't my belt. I talked to a friend with a similar honda. said he had to replace the distributor at approx. 170000 miles said he couldn't get a spark., About 140 bucks.

The A/C is a lot of current draw. weak alternator? bad belts? just doesn't have the power? timing/ spark/ fuel filter/ combustion/ power/

Things get old and wore out, mine doesn't even have the a/c belt on it!!!

My 94 honda accord fills like it's going to stall when the ac is on

EARLY AC SYSTEMS HAD AN ADVERSE AFFECT ON THE REVS OF A VEHICLE, YOU CAN RECTIFY THIS IN TWO WAYS, EITHER DON'T USE YOUR AC SYSTEM OR INCREASE THE REV IDLE LIMIT BY 150-250RPM

Problem 1998 Accord idle with AC on. My 1998 Honda Accord, 4cyl, auto trans has only about 90,000miles. Lately it has been coughing/sputtering when I stop at light or sign. Fine when driving/moving. O

If the idle air control valve is dirty, it may not be boosting base idle enough to cover the loss for the a/c. You may need to have the throttle body cleaned.

The idle drops when i put it in gear almost stalling the engine

That is normal, in park or neutral there is no resistance on the engine when you put it in gear there is resistance because the car wants to move. Also when you turn on the ac that turns on the compressor that is run off the belts of the engine so it puts more resistance on the engine. Low idle is not a problem unless the engine dies.

Engine rpms drop very low when AC is on

make sure your engine idle speed correct.air conditioner compressor will take power from engine.the engine has to be fine tune.your engine idle to low have the idle speed control checked.

94 Accord, heater blows cold air, car revs at idle once warm

Although I think your right about it being the heater core, I don't know where it is and I can only offer help with your idle problem. It is your idle control valve, it is a very common problem in Honda's.

Idles rough when ac is off when turned on idles fine sounds like a bad miss

when the ac compressor starts the diesel flow will be reduced and so the pick up will be reduced so that the car will be tuned

Rough idle when a/c on

it is normal for your car to idle down when the ac pump cuts in just have your timing checked and adjust your idle as necessary at about 750 rps at normal idle with ac off also just make sure they havent overtightened the ac belt and pulley.
