depending on what year model you have the emergency flasher and turn see flashes are you sleep separate however if the right turn signal works and the left when does you may have an electricalproblem
Front right and rear right are on a different circuit than the left front an left rear. Locate the Flasher control module behind dash. With key in RUN position check for pulsing battery voltage on the Green/white wire coming out of the flasher control module electrical connector. If no battery voltage, check for battery voltage coming into the flasher from the turn signal switch on the white/red wire. Left turn input is on the white/black wire. If not battery voltage on white/red, but voltage on white/black when turning left, then the turn signal switch is bad
Start with the fuse in your fuse box. Remove the fuse and make certain it is not burned out. Next, check the flasher unit. If you have a test light, you can check both wires at the flasher unit and they should both have 12 volts on the wires. When you turn the turn-signalswitch on, right or left, you should here the flasher unit clicking. Start there and let me know what you find. Regards,
If the right side signals are working properly and you can hear the signal flasher clicking when the right side signals are selected, the flasher is not the problem. Its more likely you have a short to ground in the left side wiring somewhere.
Please check to make sure that it isn't your flasher fuse. You may have the ability to exchange it with your emergency flasher unit. Turn on your emergency flasher to locate where this unit is installed under your dash. Make sure that the e-flasher unit and turn signal unit can be interchanged. If you are confident that they can be switched, go ahead and see if that solves your problem.
