It means that you're traction control is disabled. You are now able to spin tires/burn out. If you do not want to do that, locate the button to turn it back on... usually it just says TRAC on the button, usuallly located towards the bottom of the dash.

Have a scan tool hooked up to check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes. Code will tell u where to look for the problem.

The light on the dash reads "trac off". What does this mean?

Your Traction Control is off. Next to the button for your Hazard Lights (above the radio) there is a button that reads ETC or something along those lines. Press it all the way and the light should go away. If not, there is something wrong with your Traction Control System.

2003 pontiac grandam gt. what does it mean if your abs light ,serv. vehicle soon and track off light are all on?

Your vehicle’s computer system has self-testing capability. When the computer senses that there is a problem with some of the components it stores the correspondent trouble code(s) in its memory and lights up the Check Engine, Service Engine Soon, ABS Or TC lights to tell you that there is a problem and you should have the car diagnosed and repaired. I would take it to a service center you trust and let then come up with a solution. Sometimes a problem in one system will turn the light on for other systems that communicate with it, but it doesn't mean there is a problem in all of the systems.
