Where do u put the transmission fluid in the eldorado

The first thing you should do is check the transmission fluid and make sure it is full. If it's a really dark color and smells burnt then I'd recommend replacing it. If it's clean looking fluid then check to make sure the shift linkage is fully engaging the transmission into gear.

Hello: Put in 5 qts then drive car and get trans to operating temp then with trans in park, engine idling check fluid level again. It may need more. Have car setting level.

oil? coolant? transmission? wiper ? could mean a variety of fluids may want to double check all

try checking the transmission fluid or the transmission filter, and allways check the fuses before makeing repairs to rule out a bad fuse!

I would change all fluids at that mileage including power steering, transmission, engine oil, brake, coolant, and other fluids to get a fresh start.

Also, change the belt if cracked or shows signs of wear.

Only if you have a MAJOR leak in both the front transmission seal AND the rear main engine seal...and even then, it's still not likely.

The basic answer is no, it cannot (unless someone puts the wrong fluid in the wrong place)

Have trans fluid level checked, If level is good and fluid is burnt, transmission is slipping. Time for a transmission rebuild. Hope this helps

R/S axle seal probably damaged . Most likely enough fluid was lost to cause slippage. Try filling and get repaired. Tow if necessary. Hope this help
