I am also having the same problem with the lights flickering and now my Gas Gauge is not working. When I fill up, I can go about 100 miles and then my fuel gauge will drop to empty and the fuel light will come on and a DING, DING sound. Then the fuel gauge will go back up to normal for about 4 seconds and then drop with the DING DING. IT is very ANNOYING!! HELPPPP!!!

In my car the wheel on the light switch that controls the intensity brightness of the dashboard/interior lights is sometimes too close to being right next to the level of rotating the wheel so the lights are on continuously. I just rolled back the wheel a little and it corrects itself but if I drive a while hitting bumps etc. the wheel moves and I get the flickering of the inside lights. Outside headlights are OK though. I didn't know which lights you had the flicker.

Lights flicker dash

Check your battery connections and make sure the belt for the alternator is not loose or seriously worn out.
You may have a defective dash panel or connection behind the panel. But if the lights only flicker with the engine running I would be concerned there may be a problem with the alternator.
But the check the battery condition first, weak batteries can cause all kinds of strange issues.

Hi there, I have a 2005 Infiniti QX56 which got a unique little problem with the lights in the dashboard. While the light setting is on Automatic and during night driving, the lights in the dashboard...

Have a look at the dashboard lights dimmer switch. That switch, losing contact momentarily while the lights are on, will cause the lights to flicker.
