change your fuel filter and get in the habit of pouring an entire bottle of fuel injector cleaner once a month as you fill the tank , pour in the bottle before putting gas for best mixing... also pour a bottle of %70 isoprophil alcohol in the gas tank to rid of all the water at the bottom if your gas tank since condensation occurs nightly...

could be engine misfire. try this test take 1liter of water with 2 tablespoon of salt, engine ildling spay a little at a time on spark plug wires look for spark at ground around wires

Just plain silly. Remove gas tank, drain and dry. Replace fuel filter. Fill gas tank with 5 gallons of fresh gas. Add a bottle of water remover to tank then start and drive. Good luck.

Should not have caused significant damage. Change the oil and check again after a few days.

was the car running fine, before you put the new gas in the car, if the answer is yes, then , i would say , there is a chance that you could have got some water in your gas where ever you got it. " sometimes at gas stations, when the fuel runs low in their under ground tanks, they sweat and draw moisture, and then when a person pumps the gas , the water/ moisture goes into the customers gas tank, i would put 1-2 bottles of heet, into the gas tank to remove the water, that is if this is the case, after you do this, hope fully the engine will run fine, if it does not, then i would have someone to hook up a code tester, to the aldl link, to see what trouble codes have ben picked up by the computer, hopefully the problem will go away with the heet installed, hope that this information has helped you. you can buy the heet at walmart , or at a auto part store. p.s. try 1 bottle of heet first, and then if you need to add the 2nd bottle then you can, but see how it runs on only 1 bottle of heet first.

I would suspect water in the gas, as the injection treatment wouldn't affect it like this. Take a sample of the gas from the test port on the fuel rail that's on the intake manifold. You should be able to see if there's water in the gas.

I doubt water is your problem. Gas with ethanol is at least 10% alcohol. So a half tank of ethanol gas has a zillion times more alcohol than a bottle of heat.

Did you get gas while the fill truck was putting fuel in the ground?
You may have pick up water from the bottom of the delivery tank.
Change your gas filter and put a bottle of dry gas in your tank to dry up the water.

Sound to me like you have water in the bottom of your fuel tank. when you fill it the water is mixed with the gas until it settles. put some gas line antifreeze into the fuel tank, may take several bottles. but this should help. if not you will have to have tank taken off and drained.
