Broken prong on ABS fuse box 1997 eclipse

The metal part that the fuse attaches to is broken off

The car started acting as though it had a vacuum leak. It would stall out at an idle and just acted like it wasn't getting enough gas, air, ...something.

A mechanic thought he saw a leak in the vacuum hose so he replaced the bad hose. When that didn't do it, he replaced the fuel filter. It acted better, but it still wanted to stall out.

So I took it to another mechanic. He said it was the timing belt. He replaced the timing belt. The timing belt was in bad shape, but when he finished, he still couldn't get the timing right. He changed the fuel pump and said he checked some sensors...(not sure which ones).

He called and said it was ready and I picked it up. It still was idling rough. So I took it back to the first mechanic who worked on it. He said the second mechanic had just done what he started to do...he idled it out as far as it would go.

I am going to take it back because it is not right, but I would love to see if you have any suggestions.

Why 97 mitsubishi glant tail light fuse broken

The 10A DEDICATED fuse 12 in the engine compartment relay box feeds power to numerous circuits: the ABS-ECU, the LF power window switch, the radio, the key reminder switch, the door lights, the cruise control, the ECM, the transaxle control module, the trunk room light, the motorized antenna, the combination meter, the clock, the sunroof switch and dome light, and the garage door opener. A short in any of these can blow that fuse

Hi,
Looks like the park light harness got a short circuit.
Check the wire harness leading to the tail light. One of the power wire( usually red wire ) is stripped off the rubber insulation and touches the metal body ground. Check also the tail light connection and bulbs base contact points..
When you found the wire insulate it by using any plastic electrical tape.
Thanks for asking FixYa!

The turn signals do not work but the hazards do.

The turn signal and hazard flasher unit is located in the multi-purpose fuse panel located under the driver's left side knee protector. They are replaced by simply pulling them straight out. Note that the prongs are arranged in such a way that the flasher must be properly oriented before attempting to install it. Turn the flasher until the orientation of the prongs is correct and simply push it firmly in until the prongs are fully engaged.

Hope helps (remember rated this).

Where is the fuse(s) for 1997 Nissan Sentra. Light on switch does not come on and cruise doesn't work.

Look below the dash on the driver's side. Locate the fuse box, and remove the cover. The fuse should be labled with a diagram on the cover. Pull it out (sometimes they provide you with a fuse puller in that fuse box). Look at the metal lead inside. If it is broken in the middle. Replace the fuse
