On parking car noticed pool of water as if I had been using the air con. (this has not been used since last Summer)
The water is clear. The radiator is full
There were alson drops of water where the car had been stationaery for s few minutes when I was idling the car to negotiate backing into the parking space, There were no drops when the car was moving.
I cannot see anything dripping under the car.
The mail pool of water was roughtly under where the gear lever is or slightly towards the driver's seat.
Sorry to be so basic but I don't know much about cars!!!
Many thanks ANNE

First of all, are you sure it is a coolant leak and not the natural draining of the Air Con., a leak on piping to or from the washers, condensation from the exhaust etc.?
Does the coolant level drop significantly and if so, how much and over what period?
Can you collect in a tray the liquid that is leaking? What does it look and smell like and what colour is it?
Does it leak with the air con disconnected?
Does the heater work properly?
When you say that it is leaking 'right under the middle', I presume you mean the middle of the car. If you park over a newspaper, where does the drip end up (which might not necessarily be immediately below the leak)?
next time you notice the wet patch try and see if it is close to the a/c drain pipe under the car. If it is ambient temp that is hot and the humidity is up as well it may simple be that the a/c is removing extra water vapor from the air inside the car and this will leak out onto the ground as you drive and for a short time after you park. The difference from now to then will be the temp gauge reading while you are driving
My Getz is also having similar problem. I have thrice got water test done from Hyundai server center. After 2nd test they put some sealants underbody and return the car, but still water was leaking in. 3rd time water test, hyundai said its all fine, no problem but still problem persists. It happens when it rains only, so I dont suspect air-con filters or radiator problems. Water pool is created in driver side footwell only. During heavy rain, I tried to troubleshoot but couldnt find any fault point from where water might be leaking inside. Its second year, I have running into this problem, creating stinking smell inside the car due to wet mats. Looks like I need to do away with my car.
air con evaporator drain pipe blocked or missing. condensation forms on evaporator and and must be ablr to drain out under vehicle. if drain blocked water will build up and leak into foot well. if missing water will drain directly into foot well.
there is a drain tube that takes care of the condensation from the A/C, these usually exit under the car, does yours must be blocked (do you get a pool of water when you stop in a parking lot? if not there is your answer.
