Leaking water feom car

On parking car noticed pool of water as if I had been using the air con. (this has not been used since last Summer)
The water is clear. The radiator is full
There were alson drops of water where the car had been stationaery for s few minutes when I was idling the car to negotiate backing into the parking space, There were no drops when the car was moving.
I cannot see anything dripping under the car.
The mail pool of water was roughtly under where the gear lever is or slightly towards the driver's seat.
Sorry to be so basic but I don't know much about cars!!!
Many thanks ANNE

i am having a similar problem with my 2003 Ford Escape. i just noticed it started doing this recently. it's been hot and i have been using the A/C but i'm not sure that's the only cause because it's not just a few drops of water.

i noticed the other day when i pulled into work i heard a sizzling noise and looked underneath the car to find a steady stream of water running down from near the engine area to some hot metal underneath the car. it continued to do this for about 5 mins. or so and left a fairly decent size area of water. i popped the hood to look for the source of the leak and all i could see was a small black tube (nipple type piece) sticking out from the firewall area of the was dripping COLD water. could someone please tell me what might be causing this?

This is almost certainly water that has condensed from the atmosphere and is dripping from the condenser of your A/C unit. This is totally normal and nothing to be concerned about.

What could be causing a pool of water to form on my driver's side floor in my 2007 Chrysler Pacifica??

Most likely, you have a buildup of leaves and debris in the rain drainage system, under the hood at the firewall. This let's water backup into the fresh air intake..

2002 Nissan pulsar just started leaking water when parked could this be due to using air conditioner

It is certainly normal for some water to drip from under a car that has been running AC. How much water depends on humidity and the particular car.

If you are not running low on coolant, then it is just the condensation from the AC and is fine.

My 2000 Toyota Echo will not let me put on air or air conditioner idles high at low speed and at park or stop?

It is normal for the idle to increase when the air con is switched on. There is a fuse in the engine compartment - I-UP (idle up)

Audi a6 quattro 2.8 coolant leak

First of all, are you sure it is a coolant leak and not the natural draining of the Air Con., a leak on piping to or from the washers, condensation from the exhaust etc.?
Does the coolant level drop significantly and if so, how much and over what period?
Can you collect in a tray the liquid that is leaking? What does it look and smell like and what colour is it?
Does it leak with the air con disconnected?
Does the heater work properly?
When you say that it is leaking 'right under the middle', I presume you mean the middle of the car. If you park over a newspaper, where does the drip end up (which might not necessarily be immediately below the leak)?

Leaking fluid 2000 Forester

next time you notice the wet patch try and see if it is close to the a/c drain pipe under the car. If it is ambient temp that is hot and the humidity is up as well it may simple be that the a/c is removing extra water vapor from the air inside the car and this will leak out onto the ground as you drive and for a short time after you park. The difference from now to then will be the temp gauge reading while you are driving

Engine overheating after 10 minutes. leaks small amounts of green coolant after parking. water pump replaced 2 years ago @ dealer. radiator replaced last summer @ dealer.

How many miles on your D, and what engine does it have? The service interval for the cooling system with its oem green coolant is every 3 years or 36K.

When was it last serviced? Where under the car does the green fluid appear when it leaks?

Water in the footwell????

air con evaporator drain pipe blocked or missing. condensation forms on evaporator and and must be ablr to drain out under vehicle. if drain blocked water will build up and leak into foot well. if missing water will drain directly into foot well.

Air conditioning water

there is a drain tube that takes care of the condensation from the A/C, these usually exit under the car, does yours must be blocked (do you get a pool of water when you stop in a parking lot? if not there is your answer.
