Question about 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt Coupe
Both mirrors quit working and I am looking for fuse location. I've looked at both fuse panels, under hood and on side of floor console but do not see any of those fuses identified as being for the mirrors. Are they combined on another circuit such as the power locks? The power door locks are going on and off on their own....even when car is turned off and just sitting in driveway. I pulled that fuse until I get that problem figured out. Mirrors had quit before I pulled that fuse out, which was still good. Are the possessed door locks and the mirror problems related?
I would have a dealership take a look at the wiring. It sounds like it may be shorting out somewhere, possibly inside the door. I am unsure if the door locks and mirror motors are linked, but I would assume it would explain the fuse location in the owners manual.
If you are unable to locate the manual, I can dig mine out of my trunk.
