Temprature Gauge needle is in the red

My temprature gauge needle is in the red, and an yellow exclamation mark pops up when it goes in there. I tried turning on the heater, but that doesnt work. I replaced the temprature gauge as well. I have plenty of fluids, nothing is smoking, and nothing under the hood is abnormally hot.
Can anybody offer any suggestions?

1994 escort wagon lx fuel gauge not working

Probably the sending unit inside the tank. Only seldom is it a bad gauge in the dash. You can check which it is with this test: you will need a helper. Disconnect the electrical connector at the gas tank. You will be just momentarily grounding the fuel gauge wire that goes to the sending unit in the tank. this is either a yellow or red wire in the body side of the tank connector. Use a jumper wire and with the key in ON, not start, just for only a second, ground the red (or yellow, but I think it is red) wire to ground. While it is being grounded, someone needs to watch the gauge needle on the dash. Any perceptible movement of the gas needle means that the dash gauge is good and the problem is the sending unit in the tank.
The sending unit is a variable resistor to ground. The gauge on the dash has a small current flow that goes to the sending unit. So when you ground this wire from the gauge, you should have movement of th3e gauge needle. Do not ground it for more than a second, or you could burn out the gauge unit in dash.

1993 toyota pick up temperature gauge problem

Or the thermostat might be faulty which raises the temprature at which the thermostat starts to open. Giving a high reading on the gauge. if it gets too hot you might be at risk of blowing a pype or head gasket. If so replace thermostat. Check for a loose wire to the temp sensor as well. See if the radiator fan turns on when temp rises. If not check a fuse or the radiator fan temprature switch might be faulty.

Oil pressure drop with engine getting hot

You'll want to remove the electrical oil pressure gauge and check the oil pressure with a manual gauge to verify low oil pressure. If the oil pressure tests good with a manual gauge, then you either have a faulty oil pressure sender, or gauge in the dash (I rarely see faulty gauges). If the pressure is still low, suspect worn crankshaft bearings. There is also a possiblity that the screen to the oil pump is clogged. This can be visually checked by removing the oil pan and cleaned.

My temperature Gauge isn't moving. Is it busted? Do I need to replace it?

WEll, you need to have knowledge of the engine temprature. Usually the sending unit is the issue, pretty rare for dash gauge problem.

To test, remove the lead to the temp sender and ground it, then look at the gauge....(with key in on position, but not necessarily with engine running.

Coolant empties in approximately 2 blocks of driving

Check the water pump or the hose going to the waterpump. There is a peephole on the bottom of waterpumps, so if its bad it leaks right out the hole
