Question about 2001 Ford Focus
My temprature gauge needle is in the red, and an yellow exclamation mark pops up when it goes in there. I tried turning on the heater, but that doesnt work. I replaced the temprature gauge as well. I have plenty of fluids, nothing is smoking, and nothing under the hood is abnormally hot.
Can anybody offer any suggestions?
I would replace the thermostat first

You need to reset the onboard computer on your car please unplug the battery cable for 30 min and plug it back and check if the light is on.
