Its best to use a test light to check your trucks wires withignition off find a wire that has power to it and place the yellow memory wire from the stereo to it next with ignition on acc find power from ur truck then place the red wire from your stereo to it attach the black wire to a good earth reguarding the speakers on the back of each speaker should be the same color wire as in the dash put striped wire to + and plain wire to - on each speaker the blue wires from your stereo are optional power antenna and amp. let me know if you get stuck... note u may have some wires left in the dash thats normal just clip them and tape them

My battery has no power and wont take a charge

Check that a door switch is not open, or that an interior light was not switched on and left on, either at the light, or at the headlight switch.

If all your trying to charge the battery with is a trickle charger, then it can not charge the battery and light the light too.

2008 F-150 wont start

Radio could be wired wrong. Check the constant and accy power on the radio with a multimeter and make sure you are getting 12V on the constant and getting 12V on the accy only when the car is in accy or on. Also make sure the wire harness is properly wired. This can happen often if the radio constant and accy power wires are wired in reverse.

Are plugs and wires good? Did you check distributor? Firing order correct-timing set right? Maybe some of the new parts are faulty? Are grounds all secure and are fuses good?
