SOURCE: 1990 montero no start. No power to open injectors, good fuel pump

The only other thing to try would be to use a continuity tester with noise and back trace to the computer or get computer wire color code to test injector pulse at the source. You may have a broken or poor wire that you cant see or a plug thats not in properly etc.

SOURCE: 99 ram diesel wont start

Did you check to see if there is power to the glow plugs if not then that may be the problem and if there is power when you cycle the key not to start but for the plugs to warm up you may have a bad glow plugs.

SOURCE: 99 FORD TAURUS DOHC - WON'T START. CRANKS, BUT

If it has fuel pressure and fuel to the regulator and the rails, the regulator is working, it is getting spark to every cylinder and the timing is correct, You have good compression, it is likely a faulty sensor. You can test each one with a sensor tester or ohmmeter/multi-tester

Relay or sensor.

My 99 f150 will not start and the interior lights flash or don't come on at all. Any ideas on my problem?

Does the instrument cluster work ok? If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also, check fuel injector pulse. Are there any applicable trouble codes?
I don't know what testing you have done so I have to ask about the basics.

Does a 99 alero have a chip my car won't start?

If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it, while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a fuel pressure gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also, check for fuel injector pulse, engine cranking. Those are basic tests.

Can you check for applicable trouble codes? To check codes, yourself, at the least, you need an obd2 code reader.

99 mustang car won't start

If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a fuel pressure gage and check proper fuel pressure. If no schrader valve it makes it a little more difficult to check fuel pressure, meaning you'll have to tee into the supply line with gage and proper fittings. Some fords don't have a Schrader valve, but, it may have a fuel pressure pid so if you have the proper scanner you can read that pid.
Also, check for fuel injector pulse, engine cranking. Check for applicable trouble codes. To check codes, yourself, at the least, you need an obd2 code reader.

If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If you have spark everywhere, check fuel pressure and injector pulse. Go from there.

98 Ford F150 w/4.6l Wont start. Hear fuel pump click. Have pressure on fuel rail. Pulled #1 plug from head and plugged back into wire. Grounded plug and cranked. No spark. Changed wires 4 and 7 four days...

have diagnostic codes checked to see if you have a cam or crank sensor fault. make sure fuel pressure is at the required pressure, just testing to see if you have fuel at the valve is not enough. replace all spark plug wires. if you replaced two then all are just as old and even when they "look good" does not qualify as "they are good". Replace coil pack. start up drive away happy

The engine cranks fine, but won't start. Fuel pressure gets up to about 40 lbs. when cranking. There is a spark, but it may be too weak. Any good ideas?

your fuel pressure should actually be around 180lbs to run the engine.open the breather up and spray a very small ammount of starting fluid into the breather while you're cranking it. if it does start, your problems the fuel pump,or a clogged fuel filter.if it does'nt start you can move on to crankshaft sensor.or a bad fuel pressure regulator. thank you for choosing fixya.com

99 cherokee won't start its getting fuel and spark but just cranks and cranks it was running and i had a flat changed the flat and it hasn't started since

could be Crank and Cam sensors, airflow sensor, anti-theft system (if Applicable), Contaminated fuel, ignition and sensor wires. Are you sure fuel pressure is right? Are you getting good spark? Just giving you some ideas.
