Why when im driving my 2002 cadillac devile at nite my left tail light is out but when i brake it turns on and if i put signal light it turns on whats the issue

have u replaced the bulb? i believe some tail lights (all?) have 2 fillaments in bulb for tail light (running light) and using both for brake... blinker/ signal is a different bulb usually- that way u have running lights/ break lights at same time ur blinking.

Headlights only work on bright

i had this happen with my dodge ram 1500. the guy i bought it from put 350 dollar moon lit lights in with leds and they looked impressive but the issue was that they didnt go bright and i could only see 40 feet in front of me and i was sure taping led flashlights would have done me more good that those stupid headlights. then i had the idea of if the brights work and the dims dont then that means no electricity is getting to the dims so i decided to bridge the power from the bright headlight to the dims and it made all four work. now they all work, and only on bright. so im figuring there is a issue with the wiring in the truck. so this is a temporary solution if you really need just plain old lights like i did because i live out in the country

Light sheilds wont open and lights wont come on. If i turn on my brights and hold the swith the sheilds open and brights come on but i have to hold the switch on.

This could be a bad switch but im not sure what knd of car this is, there are many cars out that you need to push the lever foward to activate the highbeam lights, pulling back is only to turn on until lever is released, try pushing foward that should turn them on and keep them on until you pull back on the lever, good day.

When i turn on my lights @ nite da car cuts off

If turning head lights on makes the car die, then the alternator is bad.Replace the alternator, and have the battery charged with a slow 2 amp charge, this should get you going. If I can help, let me know.

My 94 accord works well in the day, but jerks at nite

Have your charging system checked. It's likely that you have a bad diode inside your alternator, resulting in a partial charge. About the only difference between day and night driving is that at night you have your lights on (using more power) that may be depriving the ignition system of full voltage. How does it run in daytime if you turn the lights on?
