Question about 1999 GMC Yukon
Firing order 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. looking from front of vehicle driver-side front to rear 1-3-5-7 passenger-side 2-4-6-8. hope this helps Tim

Sounds like the ignition coil. You can take the coil in to places like Autozone and they can check it for you. Could also be bad plug wires, resistor in rotor, etc., but not likely.

driver side of engine is odds from radiator to fire wall is 1-3-5-7
Passenger side from radiator back is evens 2-4-6-8-
FIRING ORDER IS 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2-

SOURCE: spark plug wires are arcing
If the wires are arcing that means that they need to be changed they have worn out and they can no longer keep the high voltage inside the wire just replace them about $100 and all your problems will be solved
